We launched at 8:30 at the Konocti Vista Casino. It’s sunny, but still quite cold. Before we take off, we decide to make a few casts in the harbor. I gave Charlie the front of the boat, as he was making casts to the deeper pieces wood ahead of the boat, while I was flipping a jig way up in the wood. Wednesday was brutally cold. The rain was coming down pretty hard on the drive up, but at 8am when we launched the sun popped out, for a few hours anyway. With frozen hands we made our way from Lakeport to the Clear Lake State Park. We begin by throwing ripbaits (Lucky Craft 128 Pointer), and swimbaits (Osprey and Basstrix).
